Medical Reimbursement
After seeing a doctor in New Zealand, if you have the relevant insurance, you can apply for reimbursement according to the policy. Common types include student insurance and travel insurance.

Before claiming reimbursement, confirm your insurance type and coverage, and keep receipts, medical notes, and other materials.

General Reimbursement Process (Brief)
- At the clinic/hospital: tell the provider you have insurance. Some providers can settle directly with the insurer.
- Claim after paying yourself: if you need to pay first, keep the Tax Invoice, Consultation Note, and other materials.
- Submit the claim: submit through the insurer's website, email, or app according to their requirements.
- Wait for review: payment is usually received within several days to several weeks.
