Emergency Care
When you have an urgent health issue or feel unwell outside normal hours, you can go to an Emergency Department, After Hours clinic, or Urgent Care clinic.
WARNING
For serious emergencies, such as life-threatening situations or severe injuries, call 111 for an ambulance.
When to Seek Emergency Care
- Life-threatening situations, severe injuries, sudden severe symptoms, and similar situations
- If you are unsure, call Healthline: 0800 611 116 (free 24-hour health advice)
Common Emergency Care Options
